The final recommendations have been submitted by the Commission Gustavus 150 task forces. These recommendations are now available for faculty, staff, students, and alumni to view on a secured website to provide input on the level of importance of each recommendation.
The Gustavus Board of Trustees established Commission Gustavus 150 to chart the College’s future. Eight task forces, each with a specific focus, have met regularly and worked to make specific, actionable, focus-oriented recommendations to the Board of Trustees. These recommendations will provide the foundation for the implementation of the College’s strategic plan.
“Thanks to the broad participation and support we have had throughout the Gustavus community for the Commission 150 process, we have a rich menu of recommendations to consider,” said Warren Beck ’67, chair of Commission Gustavus 150. “Now we ask that the participants give us their additional insight as we begin the process of prioritizing the recommendations that will shape the future for Gustavus.”
Four hundred and thirty nine recommendations have been categorized by sub-sections and listed by the task force that developed them. The Board of Trustees will meet in August to prioritize the recommendations, based in part by feedback received from members of the Gustavus community.
