College Launches Commission Gustavus 150 Website Posted on December 12th, 2008 by

Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to announce the creation of a new website for the College’s major initiative titled Commission Gustavus 150. The website can be viewed at commissiongustavus150.org.

Commission Gustavus 150 is a process established by the Board of Trustees and designed to involve all the College’s constituents in integrating and expanding the College’s Strategic Plan and making recommendations for the College’s future advancement. The Commission comprises eight task forces that will examine different aspects of the College’s strategic mission, core values, and future aspirations.

The website includes further information about Commission Gustavus 150 and its goals, specific information about the different task forces and the current members associated with each respective task force, and dates and locations of national summit meetings that will take place around the country from now through March. Visitors to the website can also download a copy of the College’s Strategic Plan and sign up to receive e-mail updates on the progress of Commission Gustavus 150.

“Commission Gustavus 150 is going to allow us to chart the College’s future and plan for our Sesquicentennial in 2012,” said Barb Larson Taylor, assistant to the president for special projects and executive director of Commission Gustavus 150. “The new website will allow all members of the Gustavus community from across the country to track its progress.”
