International Culture Celebrated at Gustavus

Diversity and international culture will be celebrated at Gustavus Adolphus College this weekend. The College will host its annual International Festival on Friday, Nov. 16, while the Hmong New Year will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 17. Both events are open to the public.

Hunger & Homelessness Week, Sleep Out Begin Nov. 11

In an effort to increase awareness and understanding of hunger and homelessness in America, Gustavus students have a week of programming planned Nov. 11-15. The week's events include a three-night sleep out and several other activities.

CAB Online Auction to Benefit Local Charity

Bid on items like a tour of the campus tunnels, a Chinese dinner prepared by a College Chaplain, artwork, golf lessons with the head coach, baked goods, Gustavus clothing, and much more to benefit a local charity now through 6 p.m. Nov. 10

Gustavus to Host Senate Higher Education Committee

The Minnesota Senate Higher Education Committee, in an ongoing effort to familiarize itself with the state's colleges and universities, will visit Gustavus Adolphus College Thursday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Debt Forgiveness Explored at "Our Story" Conference

Gustavus Adolphus College's eighth annual "Our Story" Conference, focusing on debt forgiveness for developing nations, will take place Saturday, Nov. 10. The conference is free and open to the public and will feature keynote speaker John Jal Wang.

Gustavus Hosts Annual Honor Band Festival

Gustavus Adolphus College hosted its 19th annual Honor Band Festival Monday, Nov. 5. The festival concert, conducted by Douglas Nimmo, featured the talents of more than 100 high school musicians from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.

Dancing Contest, Online Auction to Benefit United Way

Gustavus Adolphus College will host its second annual charity fundraiser "Dancing With the Profs" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and host a new two-day online service auction, both benefiting the St. Peter United Way.

Outstanding Employees Honored at Gustavus

Three members of the Gustavus Adolphus College community were honored at the Nov. 1 daily chapel service as recipients of the college's annual outstanding employee awards.
