A non-denominational campus revival will bring Bishop Wayne R. Felton to Gustavus Adolphus College on Friday, Nov. 9. Felton is the Senior Pastor at The Holy Christian Church in St. Paul, Minn. Sponsored by the Gustavus Pan Afrikan Student Organization, the revival is open to the public and will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel.
The Holy Christian Church has two Minnesota locations — St. Paul and Mankato — and several locations in Rwanda. It has a vision to be a church where individuals and families of all racial backgrounds are empowered to live abundantly, possessing a rich relationship with God, and walking in practical success in every area of life.
Felton was born and raised in Utica, N.Y., and received an undergraduate degree from Tuskegee University in Alabama and a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky. After relocating to Minneapolis in 1999, Felton established The Holy Christian Church. With only six original members, Felton has built the church into a notable and anointed multiracial place of worship.
