Student Produced Documentary Addresses Immigration Issues

A documentary produced by four Gustavus Adolphus College students addressing immigration issues in America will premiere at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 in Wallenberg Auditorium, located in the Alfred Nobel Memorial Hall of Science.

Gustavus Hosts Wheelchair Basketball Benefit Event

Gustavus Adolphus College will host a wheelchair basketball benefit event featuring the Southwest Minnesota State University Rolling Mustangs on March 16. The event will start at 7 p.m. at Lund Center for Physical Education and Health.

Gustavus Hires New Media Relations Manager

Matt Thomas is the college's new Media Relations Manager. In this role, Matt will work to place Gustavus stories in national, state, and local media. He joined the college's Office of College Relations on March 5.

String Theory Expert Will Give Lecture at Gustavus

String theory expert and physics professor Sylvester James Gates, Jr. is in residency at Gustavus and will deliver a free, public lecture on campus March 29.

Gustavus Hosts "Working For Change" Conference

Gustavus Adolphus College will host a one-day conference, titled "Working for Change: Creating Career Paths to Make a Difference," aimed at exploring careers in the social justice field.

Lisa Ling to Speak at Building Bridges Conference at Gustavus

Lisa Ling will give the keynote address at the Gustavus Adolphus College 12th annual Building Bridges Conference at noon Saturday, March 10 in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union. The theme of this year's conference is "Find Your Voice: Putting Awareness Into Action."

Mirth Jam To Feature Comedy and Musical Acts

Comedians, including Shannan Paul and Wayne Burfiene, along with improv comedy troupes and bands from Minnesota are gathering for a day of entertainment at Gustavus Adolphus College on March 11. Mirth Jam will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. in the college's Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union.

Admission will host its Scholarship Day as planned on Saturday, March 3, 2007.

Annual St. David’s Day at Gustavus Postponed

The St. David's Day hymn sing and related events scheduled for Friday, March 2, have been postponed due to weather. The celebration has been tentatively rescheduled for Friday, March 9.
