Building For Habitat

Out with the Old, In with the New

On Saturday, Oct. 28, Gustavus Adolphus College played its final home football game of the 2006 season — the last on the current Hollingsworth Field. After the game (about 3:30 p.m.), the current stadium was decommissioned followed by the official ground breaking for a new stadium to be ready for the beginning of next football season.

Mary K. Nelson, a 1961 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, will receive the 2006 Association of Congregations Service Award on Monday, Oct. 30.

Mark Edmundson will deliver the 2006-07 Herbert P. and Mary Jane Lefler Lecture at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 in Alumni Hall, located in the O.J. Johnson Student Union at Gustavus Adolphus College.
