Have you heard? Did you see? Gustavus Adolphus College was featured in the new CBS television sitcom "Love Monkey."
The Gustavus Choir, under the direction of Gregory J. Aune, is on a 10-day concert tour to selected cities in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
As a part of a long-range thinking and planning effort, members of the Gustavus Adolphus College community gathered on Jan. 23 to discuss what is at "the heart of a great college." More than 700 people -- students, faculty, administrative and support staff, and members of the Board of Trustees — participated in the community conversation.

Gustavus students will perform scenes from several operas at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 in Jussi Bjorling Recital Hall on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College.
Gustavus Adolphus College hosted a panel discussion, titled "Means to the Mountain Top," on Monday, Jan. 16 in Christ Chapel.
The 2006 Interim Experience, formerly January Term, focuses on vocation. Each year a specific theme is chosen. Throughout the month-long term, students learn more about vocation through various activities in and out of the classroom.
Gustavus Adolphus College has named Lindsey Reimnitz, daughter of Sam and Nancy Reimnitz of Armour, S.D., as the recipient of the Ronald S. and Rolf S. Christenson Scholarship in Political Science. The scholarship is awarded to a junior political science major judged exemplary in the excellence, depth, and imagination of his or her academic performance in political science and who has demonstrated interest in public service.
Gustavus Adolphus College and the Department of Music are taking the Gustavus Music Showcase 2006 to Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis on Sunday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. The showcase will feature the College's three premier international touring ensembles—the Gustavus Choir, the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra, and the Gustavus Wind Orchestra.
