Students, Employees Encouraged to Vote Posted on November 1st, 2004 by

The College encourages all students and employees to vote tomorrow (Nov. 2).

Students who are not voting in their home precinct may register and vote in St. Peter. Students living on campus should use their Gustavus id card to register at the St. Peter Community Center. A list of campus residents has been provided to local election officials. Students living off campus should follow the applicable state guidelines for voter registration.

Vans will shuttle students from the three flags to polling sites between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. (leaving approximately every 10 minutes). The College Democrats and College Republicans sponsor the shuttle service.

College employees are allowed a reasonable period of time off to vote without loss of pay. Employees are allowed time off for any regularly scheduled state primary, presidential primary, general election, or congressional election.
