The public is invited to “Give Peace a Place in Colombia” on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Gustavus Adolphus College. Three Colombian women will be on campus to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Colombia, the specific problems facing women and children, and the many ways in which Colombian communities are building peace from the ground up.

All are welcome to attend one of two presentations, at 4:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall or 7 p.m. in Linner Lounge, both in O.J. Johnson Student Union. There is no cost, and refreshments will be served at the second presentation.

This program is brought to Gustavus through Lutheran World Relief, and is sponsored by Women’s Studies, Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies, the Chaplains Office, the Community Service Center, and the Center for Vocational Reflection.
