Gustavus Adolphus College again ranks among the best liberal arts colleges in the nation in U.S. News and World Report’s annual college rankings. The 17th annual ranking–released to the public Friday, Aug. 22 on the Web (USNews.com)–was published in U.S. News & World Report magazine and in the annual America’s Best Colleges guidebook, both of which are available at newsstands and book stores.

The national liberal arts list includes 214 schools and Gustavus is in the top one-third for overall quality listings of this group. Gustavus is also one of six Minnesota colleges included in the ranked list, which includes 110 colleges.

Gustavus has a 90 percent retention rate (freshmen who return for their sophomore year) and a 81 percent graduation rate.
