Gustavus to Celebrate All-Steinway Distinction
Gustavus Adolphus College will celebrate its place on the "All-Steinway Schools" list with a dedication piano recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 4 at Jussi Björling Recital Hall. Seniors Ryan Ike, Phil Sowden, Beth Stauffer, Brianna Vaa, and Alex Zupan will all perform pieces at the dedication.
Gustavus Student Receives National Honors
Gustavus Adolphus College senior Alex Zupan has been named a USA Today All-USA College Academic All-Star. In addition to being one of 60 students in the nation named to this list, Zupan was also recently honored with a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Postgraduate Scholarship. Zupan is also the 2006-07 Presser Scholar, given annually to a Gustavus music major.
