Gustavus Adolphus College is hosting its annual Chicano/Latino Youth Leadership Institute service conference Oct. 25-26. This year’s conference is for Latino high school students from St. Peter and St. James high schools.

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore Ashley Gibbs has been named a Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation Scholarship recipient for 2007-08 and 2008-09. Gibbs intends to develop a kindergarten readiness program for Latino children in Richfield.
