Gustavus Adolphus College has named Laurie Trow Kelly the new head coach of its women’s basketball program. Kelly, a 1993 graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a major in speech communications, is replacing Mickey Haller, who resigned in March after serving as the head coach for 12 years.

Director of Athletics Al Molde Announces Retirement

Dr. Al Molde, the athletics director at Gustavus Adolphus College for the past 15 years, has announced that he will retire at the end of the current academic year. Molde is one of only seven full-time athletics directors that have been employed by the College since the position was created in 1920.

Mike Stehlik Resigns as Women’s Soccer Coach

Gustavus Adolphus College Head Women’s Soccer Coach Mike Stehlik has announced his resignation after 22 years directing the program. Stehlik compiled an overall mark of 223-137-30 in his 22 seasons and ranks 35th in career victories in NCAA Division III women’s soccer history.
