Charles Aydt Named Head Gymnastics Coach

Gustavus Adolphus College has named Charles Aydt as head coach of its gymnastics team. Aydt brings over 35 years of coaching experience to Gustavus, where he will be the fifth head coach in the program’s history. He takes over for Katie Olson who served as interim head coach for the 2012-13 school year.

Football Team Wins Season Opener

The Gustavus Adolphus football team kicked off its 2012 season with a 35-26 win over Simpson College on Saturday afternoon at Bill Buxton Stadium. Gustavus was able to capitalize on Simpson’s mistakes throughout the day, scoring two defensive touchdowns and forcing a total of five turnovers.
