  • Gustavus Dance Company Celebrates 25 Years of Dance

    The Gustavus Dance Company will present its 25th Anniversary Concert on March 22-24 on the stage of Anderson Theatre. The concert features the choreography of faculty members Melissa Rolnick, Sarah Hauss, and Jennifer Glaws, alumnus Philip Flickinger ’01, guest artist Cynthia Gutierrez-Garner, and the student works of junior Mallory Waytashek and senior Hollie Edlund.

  • New Exhibitions on Display at Hillstrom Museum Feb. 25

    The Hillstrom Museum of Art at Gustavus Adolphus College will present two concurrent exhibitions — How Things Are: Paintings by Ann Martin, and The Eight, the Ashcan School, and the American Scene in the Hillstrom Collection — from Monday, Feb. 25 through April 21.

  • Anderson Theatre Presents Government Inspector

    The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to present the comedy of errors that is Nikolai Gogol’s Government Inspector. Directed by Henry MacCarthy, this production will be presented in Anderson Theatre on February 21 – 23 at 8 p.m. and February 24 at 2 p.m.

    The internationally acclaimed United States Army Field Band of Washington, D.C., will continue its long history of presenting free public performances when it appears at Christ Chapel on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

    The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College is pleased to open its 2012-2013 season with the contemporary dark comedy Behold the Coach, In a Blazer, Uninsured (and Other Good Intentions), a collection of five short plays written by Will Eno and directed by Henry MacCarthy.

  • Nobel Conference Concert is Tuesday Evening

    “Come Colorful See,” the Nobel Conference 48 Concert, will be presented at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2 in Christ Chapel. The concert will feature the work of pianist Yumiko Oshima-Ryan, images by Dave Ryan, the poetry of Joyce Sutphen, and dance choreographed by Melissa Rolnick and dancer Jane Chung ’13.
