G.I.V.E. Day Scheduled for May 9

On Saturday, May 9 Gustavus Adolphus College students, faculty, and staff will convene for G.I.V.E. (Gusties in Volunteering Endeavors) Day in the St. Peter community.

May 8 is Arboretum Volunteer Day

In recognition of National Public Gardens Day, the Linnaeus Arboretum at Gustavus Adolphus College will host Arboretum Volunteer Day from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 8.

Softball Team Receives NCAA Tournament Berth

The Gustavus Adolphus College softball team, which won the MIAC regular season championship with a 21-1 record and finished second at the MIAC Tournament, has received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Remembering Bill Holm

Gustavus Adolphus College will host a gathering at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7 to honor and remember 1965 alumnus Bill Holm. Holm, a renowned poet and essayist, passed away Feb. 25 in Sioux Falls, S.D. The event will be free and open to the public.
