Minnesota House District 23A candidates Terry Morrow and Mike Bidwell will take part in a debate at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 in Gustavus Adolphus College’s Evelyn Young Dining Room, located in the C. Charles Jackson Campus Center.
Bidwell, 40, is a car salesman for Lager’s Chrysler World in Mankato and the candidate endorsed by the Republican Party. Morrow, 45, is a communication studies professor at Gustavus who is seeking his second term as a Democrat.
The format will include a moderator who will go through a prepared list of questions for the two candidates. After that list of questions has been exhausted, there will be time for a question and answer session with questions coming from the audience.
District 23A encompasses all of Nicollet County and a significant portion of Sibley County. Cities within the district include Cortland, Gaylord, Gibbon, Lafayette, North Mankato, St. Peter, and Winthrop.
Members of the public are invited to attend this event. The debate is being sponsored by GAC TV and the Gustavian Weekly.
