Noted Zoologist to Give Two Public Lectures

Frans B.M. de Waal, a Dutch psychologist, primatologist, and animal behavior expert, will present public lectures April 3 and April 8 as part of a residency through the Rydell Professorship at Gustavus Adolphus College funded by Drs. Robert E. and Susan T. Rydell.

Popular Speaker Will Address Mental Health Issues

Nationally renowned college speaker Ross Szabo will address mental health issues facing young adults at Gustavus Adolphus College at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7 in Alumni Hall.

Gustavus Celebrates 25th Phi Beta Kappa Anniversary

On Monday, April 7 Gustavus Adolphus College will celebrate a prestigious academic milestone -- its 25th anniversary of the Phi Beta Kappa, Eta chapter. On April 7, 1983 Gustavus joined the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Gustavus is one of only about 300 institutions (out of a possible 5,000) in the country to hold such a distinction.

Ben Folds Concert Sold Out

The Ben Folds concert, scheduled for Saturday, April 19, is now sold out. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in the Lund Center Arena with acoustic singer and songwriter Ari Herstand as the opening act.
