International Policy Analyst to Speak

Lutheran World Relief (LWR) International Policy Analyst Luis Gilberto Murillo is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the A.H. Anderson Social Science Center, room 101 at Gustavus Adolphus College on "Hope for Development in the Crossfire: The Afro-Colombian Quest for Peace."

Gustavus Named 6th "Fittest" College

Gustavus Adolphus College was named one of the "fittest" college's in the nation by Men's Fitness magazine. Gustavus is the only Minnesota college in the list of 25 institutions noted in the magazine's November issue.

Dr. Steven H. Miles to Give Closing Lecture at Nobel Conference

Dr. Steven H. Miles will be giving the closing lecture titled "Medicine and Social Activism" during the 42nd annual Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College.

Education and Democracy Lecturer to Visit Gustavus Oct. 12-13

Dr. Paul Woodruff, philosophy professor at the University of Texas at Austin, will visit Gustavus Adolphus College on Oct. 12 and 13.

Kip Sullivan, J.D., author of the book The Health Care Mess: How We Got Into It and How We'll Get Out of It, will speak at Gustavus Adolphus College on Oct. 18.
