The Gustavus Adolphus College community will commemorate the tenth anniversary of the March 29, 1998 tornado that struck campus and the city of St. Peter during daily chapel service at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 17.

Union University, a four-year, liberal arts institution in Jackson, Tenn. was heavily damaged by a powerful tornado on the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 6. The sad news comes almost 10 years after a tornado ripped through St. Peter and the Gustavus Adolphus College campus.
Gustavus Undamaged by Storm, Students Help
The Gustavus Adolphus College campus was undamaged by yesterday's (Aug. 24) storms. Students who are on campus for athletic practice or residence-hall training are helping with clean-up efforts in the area.
