Fringe Festival Features Gustavus Theatre and Dance

Since its founding, the Minnesota Fringe Festival has featured the work of hundreds of Gustavus Theatre & Dance students, alumni and faculty. This year is no exception, with a number of performances by alumni and current students across the 11-day festival.

Following an opening weekend which featured a sold-out opening night, The Impresario from Smyrna, Anderson Theatre's season finale, presents its final two performances May 8 at 8:00 p.m. and May 9 at 2:00 p.m.

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College will present The Other Shore, a play written by Nobel Prize winner Gao Xingjian. Directed by Amy Seham and featuring choreography by Melissa Rolnick, performances will be held in Anderson Theatre Feb. 19-22.
