A Gustavus tradition for nearly 40 years, Christmas in Christ Chapel is an opportunity for the entire Gustavus community of students, alumni, family, faculty and friends to gather and celebrate Advent and the birth of Christ through music, dance, and visual arts. Bringing the service to life were more than 300 Gustavus students, faculty, and staff, including dancers, designers, and carpenters from the Department of Theatre and Dance and musicians representing five of the college’s music ensembles: the Gustavus Choir, the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra, the Choir of Christ Chapel, the Lucia Singers, the Christ Chapel Ringers and others. The Christ Chapel Organist was Chad Fothergill. Chaplain Rachel Larson led the service.

The entire Gustavus community hopes you enjoy this broadcast of Julljus: Light from the Old World; Light to the New, and wishes you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
