The Gustavus Jazz Lab Band
The Gustavus Adolphus College Jazz Lab Band will embark on a six-day, five-stop concert tour beginning Friday, March 30 and ending Wednesday, April 4. The ensemble will also play a home concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at Jussi Björling Recital Hall.
The program, selected by Director Steve Wright, is a varied program with selections from Duke Ellington and George Gershwin, as well as works by Sammy Nestico, Thad Jones, contemporary composer Mike Tomaro, and others. The following is the schedule for the upcoming tour.
